Patrick Marchman

Patrick Marchman currently works with Resilience Action Partners, a joint venture of Michael Baker International and Ogilvy, as Mitigation Champion, advising clients on improving effectiveness and communication to support natural hazards mitigation.  Previously, he worked for the U.S. government for over ten years as both an employee and a contractor, and before graduate school, worked for eight years in the information technology sector. He earned a master's degree in marine affairs from the University of Washington in 2005 and has an undergraduate degree in decision sciences.  Patrick has also been involved with the American Society of Adaptation Professionals and the Resilience Dialogues, among others, to help develop the field of climate adaptation and support communities in developing resilience.
